My friend Brandy does our hair and she came over and did everyone’s hair in the same day…it was awesome! I only got photos of Sadie & Lydia but everyone’s hair looked great! Thanks, Brandy!!! But I did take a photo of all the hair….that’s A LOT of hair for 6 people! And most of it is mine and Sadie’s…we have crazy thick hair and it always feels good to have it cut. Brandy always says that after she cuts my hair it looks like there’s a small animal on the floor! I guess this would be a bit more than a “small” animal. Kind of a funny picture though.

4th of July & fun pics of the kiddos
We had a fun 4th of July starting with our RW&B waffles and then a BBQ at the Giers’ home with swimming, games and lots of yummy food. Fireworks that night were great---or so I’m told. I was having a hard Mommy night so I opted to stay home while Chuck took the kids. I was so glad that he was understanding enough to let me have the time I needed to recharge my batteries. Thanks, Love….you are amazing, as always!
The rest are just some fun pictures of the kiddos—Briggs with all his ring pops---silly boy!; Briggs and his friend hammering carrots---yup, carrots---to the fence so there was food for the birds. Hee, hee! ; Lydia, Abby & Ashley, our sitter, and then Lydia with her “pet” ladybug!'; Briggs and his buddy riding bikes…football style!
Man Cave Photos!
I think I’ve blogged about the boys Man Cave…it’s pretty funny. I found this picture at Hobby Lobby (of course!) and HAD to have it!!! So, so perfect for them. Hope this brings lots of fun memories for them!!!
p.s. The jars are their “wii fund”. Hee, hee!
Horse Lover Camp
So the kiddos did a Horse Camp a few weeks ago and LOVED IT!!! Yes it was hot but there were only 2 other campers and they had great one on one time with the horses. They learned to trot, lope, saddle the horses up, clean stalls and have a great start on their horseman days. So much so that they’ve convinced us to do lessons in the fall. They know it’s my dream to remodel our kitchen but they’ve all decided that the kitchen can wait---we need horses! Silly kiddos! But I am gad that they love it!!!
One of the things they saw was the horses getting new “shoes”. They cut their “toe nails” and Briggs was so excited about it that he asked if he could bring it home. Oh goody! I won’t tell you what it smelled like because I’m pretty sure you can guess. the cutest thing was that as soon as we got home he put it into a gift bag, with tissue and everything, and went to sit in the garage and wait for Chuck to get home. He brought it home as a gift for Chuck! So sweet. Photos below….
They had a “show” on the last day and I took lots of photos…unfortunately, Sadie was sick so she wasn’t there for all the pics. They got ribbons and everything!! So fun! Thanks to Mandy for being a GREAT trainer…can’t wait to start lessons in the Fall!
Our first “REAL” Circus!
A few weeks ago I bought a groupon for a small local circus…cost me about $15---I figured it couldn’t be that bad….well….I was wrong! They oversold the event, there was no where to sit, it was SO HOT and the show was pretty lame. Add to that Lydia tired and whining the whole time and it was a night I don’t want to repeat! When Chuck heard about it and heard the kids comments about how dumb the circus was, he decided that it was time to take them to a REAL Circus. We went last weekend and it was a blast! Amazing, fun, acts that wowed us at every turn. Loved the circus!!! These are a few of our favorite photos…..
