The kids had a cake decorating contest for the school Fall Festival Cake Walk on Friday. I've never done it before because it seemed like a lot of work---I was right! But it was a lot of fun too. Here are pictures of them with their cakes---I messed up on the vines on Sadie's pumpkin so it looks a little like hair, but if a pumpkin was to actually "have" hair, it would be green and look like vines, right????? :) Briggs wanted his spider to be a black widow which totally freaked Sadie out---he loved that! And Liam wanted to replicate Brigham's tank cake and guess what? Liam won 1st place in the 3rd grade for cakes!!! He was so excited!!! It was fun and worth the headache of it all! :)

Wow, you guys have been busy!! I loved the kids' costumes!! So cute. I can just picture little Lydia saying her bucket was heavy. Adorable!

the cakes are awesome! Lilly wants to know "can you make one for my birthday?" We loved seeing all the fun costumes and birthday stuff & halloween!
