Yup…she did it AGAIN! Lydia “scissorhands”!!!
Before the birth of Lydia Scissorhands....
...and after the CHOP JOB!
The pixie cut really suited her as you can see below:
But she was ready to start growing it out though and in July her hair was so adorable and FINALLY all the same length!!! How adorable is this haircut? I love, love, love her hair like this!!!!!
And I thought she did too….until she went all “Lydia Scissorhands” on me again! Grrrr….what am I going to do with that girl? I’m praying she grows up to be a hair stylist because this will make a GREAT story. And she’s going to owe me FREE haircuts for the rest of my life!!! And when I start going grey, she's going to have to color it for FREE because she is going to cause most of them!!!
Luckily, she only cut this one side and I can hide it pretty well with pulling it up in a little ponytail on the side.
Here she is devouring her 4th or 5th piece of watermelon…and her hair looks normal…thank heavens for clips and ponytails!!! And thank heavens that she is so darn cute that I can't resist loving her despite all the shenanigans she pulls!!! :)
MK Fun again!
It’s that time of year again…when Dallas turns “pink” in July! For 3 weeks over 50,000 consultants (they don’t all come at once…5 groups of around 10,000) descend on Dallas, TX, contributing millions to the economy, dressing up and having fun!!! We are trained, get prizes, have fun girl time and are inspired to reach our goals. I always feel so fresh and energized after going. Plus, I love being with my best MK girlfriends! Below are a few fun pictures…I had to take photos of my hair because I’ve never had anyone do a professional “up-do” and one of the other consultants does hair. I loved it!
The food is always yummy so I took photos of my favorite…then at the luncheon with my favorite Caprese Salad AND the most amazing lemon dessert EVER, they spoiled us even more with a performance from 2 of the members of PENTATONIX! I loved them in The Sing Off and was so excited when they won. And then…I got to get my picture taken with them!!! YAY!
Last interesting story….they always have the cars we can earn on display and of course I got my picture taken in front of that gorgeous pink caddy, because that’s going to be in my driveway by my birthday!!! But until then, we’ve earned the “premier club” level car and one of the options is a Toyota Camry…we’ve been waiting for it to arrive and it’s been late. Well guess why? It was totalled in a hail storm!!! So…I could either wait another 2 months to get another one ordered or they could give me the car off the floor at Seminar! So, I had to take a photo of MY car! It should be here any day. Can’t wait…love my MK!
Family Reunions in UT = Happy Oklahoma Edgingtons!!!
Our trip to Utah started out great…and just kept getting better and better! We were treated to 3 double rainbows in the drive out…beautiful!!! Here are some highlights of our trip:
~Sleeping in!
~Seeing family…love, love, love our Edgington Family and spending fun times with them at Cowabunga Bay, Lagoon, riding dirt bikes (you can see Liam’s injury---he totally crashed while they were riding with our friends, The Hammers!), obstacle courses & red rover in the backyard at Grandma’s, seeing Great Grandma Davie…we love the Edgingtons!
~Spending time with our dear Oklahoma friends who have moved back to Utah….The Zeas, the Hammers & the Geislers. We miss you all so much and LOVE seeing you when we come to Utah!!! I also loved seeing my best friend growing up, Michelle. Sweet, wonderful friend!!!
